ADDITIONAL PROJECT INFORMATION:

In an effort to better serve the community in the Rancho Bernardo area, Scripps Health worked with Kilroy Realty and PCA in the development of a medical-office building at Innovation Corporate Center. The site for the new facility was a parking lot that was being utilized at the time to accommodate overflow parking for the adjacent Scripps Medical Clinic. Pacific Cornerstone Architects (PCA) had already completed the design of six buildings totaling over 300,000 sf for Kilroy Realty within the Innovation Corporate Center. As Kilroy’s architect of choice for the Center, PCA was very familiar with the site as well as the intricacies of the entitlement process required to expedite the new Scripps Health Medical Office Building (MOB).

On the exterior, the shell design of the five story building was envisioned by PCA to fit within the overall master plan of the Innovation Corporate Center. When patients and staff enter the medical office building they will experience a warm relaxing professional atmosphere in a facility that provides quality health-care services and the latest technologies available. The result is a Scripps Health MOB that is better positioned to serve the needs of the community for years to come.
